What We Believe

Creeds: We believe and teach what the Christian Church has confessed since early times in the ancient creeds: the Apostle’s Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.

Grace: We believe that salvation is a gift of God found only in the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ. GRACE is God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense.

The Bible: We believe that the Bible has something significant to say to our world today. The practical message you hear on Sunday will help you deal with real life issues you face throughout the week.

It is life giving. It communicates the Gospel of Jesus Christ. John 20:31

It teaches us what is true and shows us what is wrong with our lives. 2 Tim. 3:16

It is relevant and applicable for our lives today and must be taught in a way that makes a difference, invites people to salvation, encourages with hope, and provides guidance for our Christian walk.

The Sacraments: We emphasize the active use of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism.

The benefits of baptism include being adopted into the family of God and receiving the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in one’s life.

When we receive the Lord’s Supper we remember what Jesus did for us, receive forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of faith, proclaim Jesus’ death, and express our unity.
